Tech Support


All your rage are belong to us.

And now, an excerpt from an actual conversation I really had with the ever friendly people on the phone:

Me (after about a month of not receiving any help on a problem which was getting kind of big considering it was the end of the year and so on): "Hello, is Katya there?"
Ever friendly soldier: "Yes, just a second. Who's calling?"
Me: "Gail"
Friendly soldier: "...Katya isn't here."

  3. WOAH how do you respond to comments???

    And this was hilarious. Once I accidentally clicked "order" twice on this online purchase because it malfunctioned. I called them and told them to cancel one thirty seconds later, and after about an hour of being on hold they were like, "Oh, sorry it's already been sent to the manufacturer." And I was like... damn. I hate you.

    Then I sent them an e-mail about how ridiculous it was that I had to now receive two objects because their website told me to click the thing again and I got an e-mail back two minutes later saying they'd fixed it and all was well with the world.

    Moral of the story: computers are a thousand times better at their jobs than human beings.

      I don't know if you get any kind of notification regarding the response though
